Pelmeni Foods began as a family business ten years ago when no one was making this traditional dish in Australia, except for old Russian ladies in their kitchens.
Using our own family recipes we began supplying to the Russian community and delicatessens around South East Melbourne. Word quickly spread and our traditional pelmeni soon became popular with the city's Polish and other Eastern European communities.
Before long the wider population of Melbourne had a taste of our pelmeni with requests rolling in from all over town. Our entire range is now found in gourmet supermarkets and continental delicatessens throughout Victoria.
The unique traditional recipes and high quality we have maintained has also seen our pelmeni served by high end catering companies - from the Australian Open to the Sydney Opera House.
Today Pelmeni Foods supplies to Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and ACT.
As our business has grown we continue to offer the same delicious, home-made style pelmeni and the same friendly customer service.
